I've decided the only way i can stop making random purchases (other than leaving my credit card at home) is avoiding stores entirely
I went into f21 just to see what was new for fall and ended up getting pants...though they're pants that i always wanted to get to replace a pair i have that's now falling apart..black and stretchy with zipper details. I also couldn't leave this brush behind...which I'd been planning on buying also
