The glass leaf is red and heart shaped. The veins of the leaf also imitate the veins of the heart. It material and nature of design suggest delicacy and fragility, much like a human heart. In one second this glass leaf could shatter and lose it's function or carrying capacity. A leaf itself is also fragile in form. It has a lifespan and is easily corroded once removed from its life source, the tree. This could therefore teach us to appreciate the beauty of life while it exists, as things are hardly ever permanent
