During Hurricane Sandy I had nothing to do but paint and make crafts. Thankfully I didn't lose power so I had a field day with things I found on Pinterest. Painting and crafting also kept me really calm while my house was shaking.
I also made head bands (don't know if I'll ever wear them) and cut-up/ painted shirts to personalize them. I was happy with the end results so this was time very well spent.
