This month I rediscovered the nyc Hamptons radiance bronzer and love using it to highlight my cheekbones,  inner eye corners and browbone

I also rediscovered mac espresso, which I initially bought to fill in my brows but now use as a crease shade. ..love it for days when I want to make my eyes smokier

I love  using urban decay lost eyeshadow single all over the lid with a pop off color on the lower lid

My fav blush tied with nars liberte is the deep peachy shade in the elf dark blush palette 

I've been loving the wnw comfort zone palette (towards the end of the month)

I can't wait until this bedroom eyes eyeshadow is restocked at ulta

Swatchfest

While swatching makeup for a possible future haul I noticed that urban decay rapture  (bottom right swatch) is similar to bite beauty rosewood  (top right swatch)

And that nars bahama (1st swatch) is a tad lighter than wnw timeless chick  (2nd swatch)

Inglot vs Island Blues

The day I bought the black radiance island blues palette was the day I was supposed to go to inglot to make the palette I now have. ..hence the similarity. I'm super impressed with the quality of these inglot eyeshadows. .particularly the matte and pearl formulas

I'm surprised that inglot pearl 406 (top swatch) is even more metallic than my nyx prismatic bedroom eyes eyeshadow  (bottom swatch)

I also don't feel the need to buy urban decay mainline eyeliner (bottom swatch)now that I have the inglot matte 430 eyeshadow 

Scent Trails

I have a hard time letting go of scents because that also means getting rid of memories 

Chanel mademoiselle reminds me of my first job out of college

The Paris Hilton perfume reminds me of my teens and vs true escape reminds me of the feelings I had last summer.. I still keep a remainder of the scents for this reason 

Picking a new scent is harder than letting go of old ones...it's almost like conditioning myself.  So far I've been using Giorgio armani si in the sephora sampler. ..It smells great but is a bit too overpowering for me after a few days of use. I do love the idea of trying scents this way though. Had I bought 'si' I would've been over it by now
