i exhaust myself weighing options and listening to others' opinions --- sometimes i gain helpful advice..other times it adds confusion and serves as yet another distraction

My phone screen cracked and I'm getting a new one next week. I'm unable to use my phone and that's actually a good thing - i interact more with my coworkers and even get more work done. because i get things done (first) before checking my phone for new information -- i find myself wanting to come straight home to check what i've missed in the cyber world - and really i never miss much. what i do notice more are beautiful morning skies and the overall essence of my morning routine instead of being glued to my phone -- even when walking through the parking lot - le sigh. I'm actually more peaceful and patient (in a strange way)

These two are actually quite similar - I'm glad i discovered this because I've been using bite beauty meritage almost daily and I'm bound to hit pan soon. the bite beauty formula is glossier and creamier whereas the wnw formula is more pigmented and matte

However on my lips they give the same effect because i mix them with shea moisture loredana lip gloss to suit my liking

Daily Gratitude - Insight

I've been admiring fall clothing -- i really do love fall -so glad i was born this time of year (although that has little to do with anything). I'm realizing this is my favorite season and it really brings cozy feelings with it

Your thoughts are like fish in the ocean..and I've really been trying to observe my thoughts- mostly they lead nowhere unless i have an intent to create something with them. with this knowledge..i've been trying to be more proactive and productive and act out of intent instead of habit/reflex

Today i just watched fish swim around in pet store aquariums- to and fro then fro and to -- going nowhere

Target - i really get everything i need here - it's really a superstore

I picked up food and and elf eye shadow quad, which did not disappoint

Sinful colors - My buoyfriend - it's a welcome change from my fall inspired wine and eggplant nails - a lot more energizing and refreshing to look at compared to the default wine-berry shade i had before

October is coming to an end and I must say i haven't experienced so much growth in any month before now. I don't know what i can attribute my accelerated growth to but i'm grateful for it...it's created bursts of creativity, insomnia, wild thoughts, powerful emotions, letting go completely and enjoying the moment, peaceful surrender...as well as revelations of buried feelings, i just need breaks to contemplate and regain my sanity every few days in order for this to be helpful

Little mermaid trinket - i got my disney kidada necklace in this beauty. the day i got this in times square i had gone running in the morning and felt amazing....I was on a runners high if you want to call it that and the wish-a-little was my only reason to go to the city i think. i really believed in the magic of it all...moving up..thinking and living positively...imprinting good thoughts onto my subconcious

Black & white bichon frise/ maltipoo? postcard - i picked this up at strand bookstore because i really want a pet and i got it to remind me that need a big yard here for my standard poodle and pit bulls

sand and stones in a bottle - i bought the materials for this in Petsmart and Micheal's - it reminds me of the beach house i'm pining for

framed painting - i always see things on pinterest and try to recreate them- this is one of them...my paintings will always remind me of my DIY days

Weekly Highlight: Feelings

Listening to Club going up on a Tuesday makes me really happy. I love how “M” lags behind the beat a bit and even though I want to speed him up, I’m encouraged by his melody to just ride the tune and enjoy the mix. It’s super comforting and makes me feel like my life is all rainbows- light and wonderful. You know when you meet a guy and you have no hang ups about him or anything else. you feel secure. you’re completely happy, not numb/drunk/high—you’re actually conscious and you just love every minute of your waking life in the moment and you just feel pure bliss. Would be great to feel this way more often
