10 Life Lessons and Turning 25

I become very introspective when my birthday approaches. I treat every new age as a new year because....it is..

Also on this blog i analyse who I am becoming. I originally started this blog to show ways to recycle materials creatively, resourcefully and innovative-ly? but the blog, instead, mirrored me and my current life situation..

Lessons so far:

1. You really have to become the manager for your life- you are your own accountant, master planner, life coach etc

2. Life is really what you make it (an extension of the previous lesson)...you choose your beliefs and life goes according to those beliefs

3. Time goes by more quickly than you realize (or maybe time is really speeding up and we move into new "time"-spans...teleporting anyone?)

4. Never put anyone on a pedestal. Everyone is just human. All the movie stars and "famous" people i looked up to are really just HUMAN

5. Water is life

6. Getting enough sleep and taking care of your body is essential - physically, spiritually and mentally. As you create your body daily...making new cells and and thoughts....the quality of you chemical composition requires your mindfulness and careful attention

7. Nobody knows you more than you and will understand you more than you....except the one who created you..God

8. You don't always need a change of scenery but a change of self (Paraphrased from a quote i saw yesterday)

9. Nature is possibly the ultimate source of pure soul nourishment

10. Learn to say no. Choose carefully and be specific about your desires ...or you'll just get whatever is blown at you
