Change, Hope and Accepting the Present

I spend a lot of time documenting the present, rereading the past and hoping for the future. I rarely relish the present because I'm always analyzing it.

I'm always trying to be a good
person and stay true to myself without being naive or selfish. It's a constant struggle but maybe it's worth the battle.

My current struggle is believing that the present is ok and that the future will be even better. I need to stop clinging to the past ways of doing things..which brought me to where i am now...and embrace the new paths ahead by doing things differently now. I want to be more responsible and take my life into my own hands..in God's way

You may feel that you haven't earned a reward that is coming your way, but that's only because you haven't been keeping track. You have done more good than you know. Many of your most powerful positive works have been small gestures of kindness that have added up. Don't worry about keeping score, Libra. When a gift from above arrives in the coming weeks, just be grateful for it. Don't you dare feel unworthy, or you won't give back the same good energy that will soon come coursing through your life.

It's easy to stick with the old way of doing something. Clinging to old friends, old routines, old places of interest is reassuring and predictable. That's a safe way to proceed in a world that can be frightening at times. But it can't bring you anything new. It can't lead you down a whole new path that might bring you something even better and more auspicious. You don't have to completely abandon your old ways, Aquarius, but it would be wise right now to wander down a new path for a change.

You may be wallowing in bittersweet memories of the past. You do tend to get lost in what "used to be" now and then. You may believe that your life was so much better back then, during a certain time in your life. But if that's really true, then perhaps the only reason it was better is because you haven't given the present moment the chance to shine and to bring you what you're dreaming of. If you're caught in the past, you can't accept what the universe is now trying to offer you. Let go, and embrace the here and now.
