2012 Lessons Learned

When it comes to dating, sex.. relationships..i should never rush or push things. I mean I can force things but I won't get the results I expect.

In that same breath..I don't think one night stands could ever be my thing..I'm more of a relationship person

Never ever get involved romantically with anyone you work with..unless you're planning on quitting that job immediately. Paranoid people like myself cannot deal with office gossip. Work is for work.

I need to be near the beach..always..I'm not sure if being in Manhattan counts...

Old friends are hard to keep connected to. They get married or graduate and you learn about it from Facebook!! I've stopped putting a lot of effort into maintaining old friendships...because life is happening to us.

Trends aren't for everyone. Stay true to your personal style. You know, the style that suits your vibe and spirit

Loving the November Allure Issue

I love Oscar de la Renta for making this list 10 things every woman should have...which I agree with for the most part

Ipsy and Beauty Army

I'm subscribed to ipsy but I'm thinking of subscribing to beauty army as well...after reading November's issue of Allure...

With beauty army, I love the idea of choosing what I want in my beauty bag. However, i must agree that the element of surprise is more appealing...which is the case of ipsy

Choosing A New Fragrance

This is an important decision to me because I like to have a signature fragrance (at least for a while) and I get tired of scents easily.

I still use Chanel coco mademoiselle sparingly (I'm tired of it because it doesn't match my mood these days) but I've been eying Gucci flora gardenia.

Now i think i might be more into Isse Miyake florale and viva la juicy la fleur, which both have Mandarin basenotes and a fun, optimistic, in-love scent.

There are also times when my low key signature scent is simply enough...which turns out to be a sugary vanilla scent from bodycology from time to time
